To support its training mission, the Academy has a wide range of facilities which include spacious and well equipped lecture rooms, conference halls, auditoria, library, mess, hostel, sports complex, dispensary, reprographic unit, bank, post office, EPABX, computer lab and lately, the LAN and the Internet.

SPORTS COMPLEX :

The Academy has a very well equipped sports complex having facilities for almost all games and sports. There are two sports fields which are used for cricket, hockey, football and athletics. There are three tennis courts, two indoor badminton courts, one squash court and a basketball court.The Academy also has good facilities for indoor games like table tennis and billiards. 
There is a modern gymnasium with multi-gym machines, weights and various other equipment for physical fitness. 
The LBSNAA has its own stable of horses and riding is taught by trainers from the President's Body guard. 
Training is also given in the art of self defence, shooting, rock-climbing etc. Very soon, The Academy is going to have an all weather temperature-regulated swimming pool. 
Their are organised trekking, rafting, and mountaineering expeditions

LIBRARY :

The Gandhi Smriti Library is one of the best equipped and managed Library in the country. The Library has a collection of around 1.5 lakh books and bound volumes of Journals. The Library receive 395 Periodicals & Newspapers by way of subscription, exchange and complimentary basis. The entire collection of the Library is bar coaded and almost of the housekeeping jobs are computerised. 
The timings of the library are: 
       Working Days (During Courses) - 9.00 A.M to 9.00 P.M 
                          (Without Courses) - 9.00 A.M. to 5.30 P.M. 
       Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays - 9.30 A.M. to 6.00 P.M. 
       Photocopying facility is available to the readers on cost basis.

ACCOMMODATION :

There are a number of residential units and blocks for the Officer Trainees, Faculty and staff. The Happy Valley block houses guests visiting the Academy. 
The hostel rooms are fully furnished. Each room has an electric heater. Bathrooms have geysers operated centrally. 
One room bearer is attached to each floor in all the hostels. There is a lounge in each of the hostel floors, with a music system, cable TV, washing machine and a hot plate.

CLUBS and SOCIETIES :

The Academy has a large number of clubs and societies which organise various activities ranging from treks to cultural evenings to dicussions. Participants of a course elect representatives from among themselves,to manage these organizations during their stay at the Academy.

Adventure Sports Club brings the spice of adventure to life in Academy. The Location of the Academy in the Garhwal Himalayas provides ample opportunities for adventure sports. From time to time it organises Treks, River Rafting, Parasailing, Skiing, etc.

Alumini Association keeps in touch with alumini of the Academy. It brings out a periodical Academy Sandesh which has contributions from alumini. [ HOMEPAGE ]

Computer Society keeps officer-trainees abreast with the latest advances in Computers. It organises various activities like quizzes, debates, demonstration of the latest in computer technology and special sessions on computers.

Film Society for the film-buffs, organises film appreciation courses and film making courses. It regularly screens Indian and foreign films.

Fine Arts Association brings out musical and acting talent among officer-trainees. It organises cultural evenings, singing and drama competitions, classes in singing, dance and acting, zonal day functions with themes drawn from India's 5,000 year old multi-ethnic cultural heritage.

Hobbies Club encourages officer-trainees develop their hobbies by interaction with other like-mined people. It organises painting and collage competitions, photographic exhibitions, etc. 

House Journal Society is amedium for the literary aspirations of officer-trainees. During every course it brings out a journal with contributions from officer-trainees. At the end of each course it brings out a directory of participants: a reminder of cherished moments spent together at the Academy.

Management Circle attempts to introduce officer-trainees to the world of Business and Management through activities like the Stock Exchange Game, a Management Quiz, the Advertisement Recall Game, a Mock Conference, a Great Idea Contest, etc. [District Training Ready Reckoner]

Nature Lovers Club is the hoom of the Academy's 'greens'. It organises Jungle Safaris, Nature Photography Competitions, Herbarium and Driftwood Exhibitions,a Nature Quiz, the screening of Wildlife films, etc.

Officers' Club provides facilities for both outdoor and indoor games. The outdoor facilities include Lawn Tennis, Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Cricket and Hockey. The indoor games include Billiards, Snooker, Carrom, Chess, Table Tennis, Squash and Badminton. It also organises inhouse competitions and matches with other institutions.

Officers' Mess is the centre of community life at the Academy. The Mess Committee routinely organises formal and informal get-togethers. The Celebration of different festivals and zonal days when an atmosphere of regional cultures is created, are among the more important functions organised.

Rifle and Archery Club organises practice sessions in the use of fire-arms and archery. It possesses revolvers, air guns, rifles, etc. From time to time it organises competitions in in its special areas of interest.

Society for Contemporary Affairs is a forum for discussion, debate and study of all matters of general interest. It invites celebrities of national and international fame to interaction with officer-trainees. It regularly organises debates on important contemporary issues, quizzes, and extempore competitions.

Society for Social Services runs a Homeopathic dispensary and Lalita Shastri Balwadi. It organises evening coaching classes for children of class IV employees. It also holds health camps in neighbouring villages. It takes up projects directed to benefit the poor. [ HOMEPAGE ]
